Dairo Vargas is a Colombian-born contemporary painter based in London. His artistic practice explores memory, identity and the relationship between past and present. Drawing inspiration from the European Baroque tradition, particularly Rubens and Velázquez, his paintings move between abstraction and figuration, combining expressive gestures with layered compositions.
